Business VOIP Phone Systems

A hosted phone system for the whole office - no PBX hardware to maintain, no technician visits to add a new starter.

A business VOIP phone system moves your office phone system off a physical PBX box in a cupboard and onto the internet. Calls still work exactly the way your team expects – transfer, hold, voicemail, ring groups, call queues – but every extension, greeting, and call route is managed from a web dashboard instead of a proprietary handset menu.

Because it’s hosted, adding a new staff member’s extension or changing an after-hours message is a five-minute change, not a call-out fee. It also means the system keeps working if your office internet has a brief outage, since calls can fail over to mobiles automatically, and your team can take an extension home or to a second site with the same handset settings.

Key features

  • Unlimited internal extensions, ring groups, and call queues
  • Auto-attendant and after-hours menus you can edit yourself
  • Voicemail-to-email so nothing gets missed
  • Works with existing SIP handsets or a softphone app - no forced hardware refresh
  • Call failover to mobile if the internet drops

Frequently asked questions

What hardware do I actually need to get started?

Nothing extra is required. VOIP24 works with the desk phones you already own (if they're SIP-compatible), with new VOIP handsets we can supply, or with just a laptop and headset using our softphone app. Most businesses are making calls within a day of setup.

Can I keep using my existing office phones?

In most cases, yes. If your current handsets support SIP, they can usually be reconfigured to work with VOIP24 with no replacement needed. We'll check your model during setup and let you know if anything needs upgrading.

How many users or extensions can the system support?

From a single-person office to a call centre with hundreds of agents, the platform scales with you. Extensions, call queues, and departments can be added or removed at any time without needing new hardware or a system rebuild.

What happens to my calls if my internet goes down?

You can set up automatic failover to mobile numbers or another location, so incoming calls keep reaching your team even if your main internet connection drops. We recommend this failover setup for any business that can't afford to miss calls.
