IP Phones

Every VOIP24 service works with a wide range of SIP handsets, and Yealink is the brand we recommend and support first. The models below are the ones we install most often. They are reliable, well built, and easy for staff to pick up without training.

We can supply and configure handsets for you so they work the moment they are plugged in, or if you already own compatible phones we will help you bring them across. Hundreds of other SIP-compatible phones also work with our service; if you have a different model in mind, ask us and we will confirm compatibility before you spend anything.

Yealink SIP-T29G

A dependable, feature-rich desk phone for busy front desks

  • USB port for call recording or a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi dongle
  • Supports up to 6 expansion modules for attendant consoles

Yealink SIP-T53

A clean, adjustable greyscale screen, solid audio and gigabit networking at a sensible price. The T53 is the phone we put on general staff desks when the budget matters but quality still does.

Yealink SIP-T53W

  • Up to 12 SIP accounts
  • Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  • Dual-port gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet

Yealink SIP-T54W

Already have T54S handsets? They are the same phone without the built-in wireless, and we support them fully.

Yealink SIP-T48S

A big 7-inch touchscreen for people who live on the phone

The T48S puts everything on a large colour touchscreen: contacts, call history, transfers and up to 16 accounts, all a tap away. It suits managers, executives and anyone juggling several lines at once.

  • 7-inch colour touchscreen (800 x 480)
  • Up to 16 SIP accounts
  • Dual-port gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet
  • USB port for call recording or a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi dongle
  • HD audio including the Opus codec
  • Supports up to 6 expansion modules

Yealink retired the T48S in 2022 in favour of the T48U. We still support existing T48S phones and supply the T48U for new orders.

Yealink W60B cordless system

Cordless phones for workshops, clinics and anyone who cannot sit still

A compact DECT base station that runs up to eight cordless handsets, so staff on a warehouse floor, in a surgery or out the back of a shop can answer calls wherever they are.

  • Up to 8 cordless handsets and 8 simultaneous calls
  • Up to 8 SIP accounts
  • Roughly 50 metres indoor range and up to 300 metres outdoors in clear conditions
  • Power over Ethernet, so a single cable does everything
  • Works with Yealink W53H, W56H and W59R handsets

Yealink has since replaced the W60B with the W70B. We support existing W60B systems and supply the W70B for new installs.

Yealink W79P rugged cordless system

Built for tough environments

The W79P pairs the W70B base station with the ruggedised W59R handset, rated IP67 against dust and water. It is the cordless system we recommend for sites, factories, kitchens and anywhere a standard handset would not survive long.

  • Up to 10 W59R cordless handsets and 20 simultaneous calls
  • Up to 10 SIP accounts
  • W59R handset rated IP67 against dust and water, with Bluetooth and a vibration alert
  • Up to 6 optional repeaters to extend coverage across large sites

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to buy my phones from VOIP24?

No. Buying through us means they arrive configured and we look after them, but if you already own SIP handsets we will check them and help you bring them across.

Can I use phones from my old provider?

Often, yes. As long as the handset is a standard SIP phone and is not locked to the previous provider, we can usually reconfigure it. Send us the model and we will confirm before you cancel anything.

Which phone should I choose?

For most desks the T54W is the safe choice. Reception and admin staff who transfer a lot of calls suit the T29G or a T54W with an expansion module. Anyone who moves around the premises is better off with a cordless system. If you are unsure, tell us how each person works and we will recommend a mix.

What is PoE and do I need it?

Power over Ethernet lets the network cable power the phone, so there is no power adapter at each desk. It needs a PoE network switch. If you do not have one, we can supply power adapters or a suitable switch.

Can staff use headsets?

Yes. Every model listed supports wired headsets, and the models with built-in Bluetooth pair with wireless headsets directly. The others can use a USB or Bluetooth dongle.

Do cordless phones sound as good as desk phones?

Yes. DECT is a dedicated voice technology separate from your Wi-Fi, so call quality does not suffer when the office network is busy.

Will you set the phones up?

Yes. Phones supplied by us are provisioned before they ship, so each one is plug in and go. Bring-your-own handsets are configured remotely or on site depending on the model.

Have a different phone in mind?

Send us the model and we will confirm whether it works with VOIP24 before you buy.
